Titled "Developing Modern Products Without Borders," the event brought together startup founders, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts for an afternoon of cross-cultural exchange and forward-thinking dialogue.
At the heart of the event was a Founders’ Talk featuring Tharindu and Buddhishan, the visionary co-founders of Fcode Labs. They shared their inspiring journey of bootstrapping a high-performing engineering team of over 100 professionals in just six years. Their story highlighted how Sri Lankan tech talent is powering cutting-edge global products from afar, proving that geography is no barrier to innovation.
The afternoon also featured special guest speakers, including Tolga Ermis, Founder of PromiseQ, and Ingmar Schuster, Founder of Exazyme, both of whom spoke about their experiences collaborating with Sri Lankan developers. Their insights underlined the value of remote partnerships and how cultural understanding and trust can fuel growth and creativity across borders.
