ILogCancer, a Norwegian health-tech startup, is on a mission to reshape cancer treatment through digital innovation. Their vision was to create a system that could extend oncology care beyond the hospital, giving patients more autonomy while equipping oncologists with powerful tools to track, manage, and adapt treatment remotely.
The result was Minprostata (the iLogCancer app), a comprehensive oncology platform designed to support prostate cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. By combining patient management, remote monitoring, and prescription tracking with healthcare-grade compliance, the app represents a new era in digital cancer care. We partnered with ILogCancer to transform this vision into a secure, scalable, and patient-first solution.
Cancer treatment is often a long and complex process, requiring frequent interactions between patients and their care teams. Traditional models depend heavily on hospital visits, which can add strain to patients while limiting physicians’ ability to track progress in real time.
ILogCancer needed a platform that could remove these barriers, making care more continuous, accessible, and efficient. The solution had to be designed for patients of all ages, ensuring ease of use, while also providing oncologists with a robust backend system to monitor treatment logs, visualize patient progress, and manage prescriptions securely. Compliance was critical, with HIPAA and HISO standards required from day one to prepare the app for international deployment.
We designed the patient-facing mobile app with a focus on simplicity, ensuring it was intuitive for users regardless of age or digital familiarity. Built with Flutter Bloc architecture, the app allows patients to log treatments, track prescriptions, and stay actively engaged in their care.
For oncologists, we engineered secure data pipelines and visualization tools that transform patient logs into actionable insights. This enables doctors to track prescriptions, adjust treatments remotely, and maintain a holistic view of patient cases.
To ensure long-term reliability, the system was built on a cloud-native architecture optimized for scalability and resilience. This design allows the platform to grow with adoption while maintaining high performance and speed. At the foundation, we embedded HIPAA and HISO compliance, implementing secure authentication, encrypted data storage, and privacy-by-design workflows to meet the highest standards of healthcare regulation.

The launch of Minprostata has enabled prostate cancer patients to receive remote monitoring and treatment from the comfort of their homes, reducing the need for frequent hospital visits. For oncologists, the app provides a single platform to manage patient data, prescriptions, and treatment plans, significantly improving efficiency and quality of care.
By meeting global compliance standards, the platform has established trust among patients, clinicians, and regulators, making it ready for international rollout. Most importantly, Minprostata positions ILogCancer as a pioneer in remote cancer treatment, demonstrating how digital innovation can extend the reach of oncology care and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.
